The purpose of the institute is fourfold: (1) the education and training of qualified candidates from public and private industry, including teachers and the institute staff (2) the design, implementation, and publication of research studies into what psychological treatment techniques work best with trauma victims; (3) individual one-on-one, low-cost psychotherapy for trauma victims; and (4) professional response teams to provide on-site counseling and therapy in the event of a crisis. We have been accredited as a Trauma Institute by NY State and are applying to New Jersey for accreditation.
We are now incorporated and have our 501 (c) 3 tax status and are a "not for profit" organization. A list of outstanding professionals who have agreed to participate in the institute operations includes the following:

With the Warren Trauma Institute
Candidates must have a degree in medicine, psychology, social work, nursing, or an affiliated degree in health care. (Registration fee, $100). Please indicate whether or not you are willing to be deployed anywhere in the United States or abroad in case of emergency. Please indicate whether you are an M.D., Ph.d., M.S.W., R.N. or Mental Health Worker in order to certify.
Please include a $100 fee which will be returned if you do not pass the exam. In the packet you will receive the exam. If you do not have Dr. Warren's book, Trauma: Treatment & Transformation which the exam is based on, include an extra $20 and the book will be included in the packet you receive. If you do not pass the exam, the $100 fee will be returned. Looking forward to hearing from you.

All candidates are required to take a test based on Dr. Warren's book: Trauma: Treatment and Transformation for certification as a qualified member of the Emergency Response Corps. Members will receive certificates and other credentials.
